Full Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high data integrity standards within our hardware asset tooling. This includes overseeing the hardware asset register data and supporting the strategic direction of the supporting tooling. You will collaborate directly with the hardware asset team and cross-functionally with teams providing data and tooling support., Diligent and analytical, the Hardware Asset Data and Tooling Supervisor will join our IT Customer Experience and Support Team, reporting to the Hardware Asset Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining high data integrity across the tooling. The role's success will be achieved by the below success metrics.

  • Support strategic goals by collaborating with the ServiceNow team to enhance tooling and improve data quality, automation, and insights.
  • Identify and deliver continuous service improvement initiatives in hardware asset management by analyzing data insights and developing solutions.
  • Develop and leverage data-driven insights to add value to the firm by optimizing refresh cycles, managing order volumes, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance security and reduce risk.
  • Deliver regular management reports (weekly/monthly) relating to hardware assets

    We seek a highly organized individual with proven experience managing an asset register or similar database. Strong interpersonal skills and a process-driven approach, including the ability to implement new working practices, are essential., Experience in a database oversight role in a blue-chip organization or similar.
  • Essential to have had significant exposure to the daily running of a major and wide-ranging IT Operations function
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present information articulately to both IT and other stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, numeracy and IT skills with a keen eye on the quality and integrity of data and how it flows throughout the business
  • Exposure to HR, procurement, finance and associated IT business processes would be a significant advantage.
  • Ability to manage tight reporting deadlines
  • Structured and with ability to work effectively in a changing landscape
  • Desirables:
  • Exposure to ServiceNow or similar tooling
  • ITIL v4 foundation (or higher) certification or similar
