Full Job Description

  • We provide the support team with the documentation needed to support systems delivered by our Engineer team.
  • We provide end-user support for complex issues outside documented scenarios.
  • We take responsibility for the technical design and implementation of in-scope IT systems.
  • We ensure required systems and services are delivered securely and within agreed OLA and SLA requirements.
  • We work autonomously to agreed scopes and deadlines.
  • We foster a culture of security and advocate for Zero Trust.
  • We ensure systems are created securely and remain secure.
  • We ensure systems adhere to standards such as ISO27001 where required.
  • We design and support IT initiatives that improve systems, data quality, and efficiency.
  • We act as champions for change and continuous improvement.
  • We provide technical expertise to help keep our systems cutting edge.
  • We may also take on ad hoc tasks that support our collaborative culture.

    We have experience with M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • We are comfortable engaging with and challenging stakeholders at a senior level.
  • We have a proven ability to deliver technical projects on time.
  • We can manage and prioritise our workload effectively.
  • We are detail-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • We have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file servers.
  • We have working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V.
  • We have strong working knowledge of M365, including Exchange, SharePoint, PowerApps, Microsoft Teams, Teams Phones, Entra ID, and Intune/Autopilot.
  • We understand networking fundamentals, including wired and wireless design, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, WAN, and VPN.
  • We have experience with security tools and controls such as MS Defender XDR or equivalent, Entra ID, MFA/passwordless technologies, Conditional Access, and UEM/MDM such as Microsoft Intune.
  • We have experience supporting end-user hardware such as laptops and desktops.
  • We can understand and articulate technology impacts on business outcomes.
  • Awareness of surrounding technologies and systems is advantageous.

    We are a hands-on Engineer team focused on delivering key technical projects that implement, deliver, and maintain forward-thinking, scalable, secure, and resilient systems, platforms, and services aligned to our business goals. This is a fixed-term role for 12 to 18 months, with a strong focus on system upgrades, migrating group companies to scaled M365 tenants, and remediating Defender advisories. The role is based in person, and we offer a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 per year, along with benefits including casual dress, free parking, and on-site parking.
