IT Desktop and Asset Manager

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of end-user computing and telephony, while leading the strategy and lifecycle management of IT assets across the business. From infrastructure equipment to software licensing, you'll ensure the effective management, control, and optimisation of our IT estate. • You'll be responsible for line managing two team members, providing guidance, support, and regular performance feedback.
• Leading the strategy for IT hardware and asset management across the business
• Keeping our asset inventory accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
• Improving systems and processes to reduce waste and drive efficiency
• Supporting end users with desktop, hardware, and software issues
• Managing IT equipment lifecycle, procurement, and stock levels
• Producing insightful reports and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth asset recovery and compliance
• Creating clear documentation and supporting project delivery
