About the role
The Guinness Partnership is looking to recruit an IT Asset Coordinator to join our busy IT Services Team based in our Oldham office on a full-time, permanent basis.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and organised IT Asset Coordinator to support the management of our IT assets throughout their lifecycle. You will maintain accurate hardware and software asset records, manage stock levels and inventory in our IT storeroom, coordinate asset deployments and recoveries, process IT procurement orders, and manage asset-related incidents and service requests.
Acting as a central point of coordination between suppliers, internal teams, and end users, you will help ensure requests are fulfilled efficiently, issues are resolved in a timely manner, and IT services continue to operate smoothly across the organisation.
You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels efficiently and courteously
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Experience of working with suppliers
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Ability to deliver to deadlines
- Methodical approach with attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of office tools, including Word and Excel
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours
Essential qualifications:
Educated to Level 1 (GCSE or equivalent) or higher.
