IPS Supply Chain Manager

As an IPS Supply Chain Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of Shaw Trust's delivery partner network, ensuring high-quality Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services are delivered consistently across the contract area and achieve excellent employment outcomes for participants.

Working alongside the Regional Operations Manager, Service Manager and wider leadership team, you will lead supply chain performance, quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement activities across the contract. You will support delivery partners to embed IPS principles, the six phases of IPS support, prepare for internal and external Fidelity Reviews and continuously improve service quality and participant outcomes.

You will play a key role in developing strong relationships with delivery partners, community organisations, specialist providers and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative one-service approach that supports service excellence and innovation.

Areas of Delivery

This role covers the West Yorkshire contract area, including:

+ Leeds

+ Bradford

+ Wakefield

+ Kirklees

This is primarily a home-based role with regular travel across the contract area. Applicants should be able to travel independently and efficiently as required to meet the needs of the role. You will be expected to spend a significant proportion of your working week meeting delivery partners, commissioners, stakeholders and community organisations across all areas of delivery to support effective partnership management, quality assurance and contract performance.

20th or 21st October - Huddersfield

Should we be successful in winning this contract, successful candidates will commence induction on Monday 30th November 2026.

What You'll Do

+ Lead and manage delivery partner performance, ensuring contractual, quality, IPS fidelity and compliance requirements are achieved.

+ Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance and governance activity across the supply chain, supporting partners to deliver high-quality IPS services.

+ Support delivery partners to prepare for IPS Fidelity Reviews, implement improvement plans and embed IPS principles, the six phases of IPS support and evidence-based practice.

+ Build and maintain strong partnerships with delivery partners, community organisations, specialist providers and key stakeholders.

+ Analyse performance information, identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to support service quality, participant outcomes and contract performance.

+ Develop and maintain an Approved Provider Framework that promotes participant choice, improves access to specialist support and addresses gaps in provision.

+ Experience of leading supply chain, contract, provider or partnership performance within a complex service environment.

+ Strong knowledge of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, including the six phases of IPS support, supported employment principles and the role employment plays in supporting recovery, wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.

+ Experience of leading quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement activities across multiple organisations or service providers.

+ Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.

+ Strong commercial awareness, analytical capability and experience using performance information to drive improvement.

+ Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support, challenge and develop delivery partners effectively.
