Full Job Description
The Involvement, Recovery & Wellness Centre (IRWC) is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic mentor/tutor who has a passion for recoveryand teaching to support the facilitation of workshops Cheshire wide. The role requires you to champion hope, opportunity, independence, andcontrol by supporting and teaching evidence based self-management strategies both in groups and on a one-to-one basis; in order to support the people utilising CWP services to live their best lives and reach their own personal potential in all areas of life., To create, develop and facilitate workshops Cheshire Wide (i.e. Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield), as well as work with people on a one to one basisutilising evidence based recovery principles.
Facilitate wellbeing events, encourage public engagement and promote prevention and wellbeing.
The team is made up of people with lived experience, who believe in and teach self management/recovery strategies to the users of CWP services.
The role requires the facilitation of psychosocial strategies in both groups and on a one to one basis.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.
