Full Job Description

Shape the future of production planning and help us deliver excellence across our supply network.
Join us as an Inventory & Production Planner and play a critical role in ensuring our products reach customers on time and in full, while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across our operations.

What you'll be responsible for:

As a key member of the Production Planning team, you'll create and manage detailed production schedules that balance customer demand with resource optimisation. Acting as the central link between commercial, procurement, and production sites, you'll ensure clarity and alignment across the business.

You'll analyse inventory levels, maintain accurate master data in SAP, and collaborate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of raw materials.

This role also involves monitoring production progress, adjusting plans to respond to changing priorities, and applying IWS tools to eliminate waste and improve scheduling accuracy. Your work will directly support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role will be based from our commercial Leeds office but will support our Methwold, Norfolk site where regular travel for on-site presence will be required.

Understanding of production processes, inventory management and supply chain principles

- Demonstrable analysis/system skills with confidence to report from SAP, along with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Confidence to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders whilst adapting to fast-moving and changing business priorities

- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet - you don't have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
