Inventory First Line Manager

Grade: RCS M grade Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday [14:45 - 00:00], Friday [11:00 - 16:00] Location: St Athan, CF62 4WB Think you know DHL? Think again! We are looking for an Inventory First Line Manager to join our team, leading a safe, efficient, and high-performing inventory operation while driving operational standards, compliance, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Inventory Clerks to deliver high levels of stock accuracy
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies through system analysis and root cause investigation
• Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, ensuring performance targets are achieved
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity across warehouse systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency
• Use warehouse management systems and reporting tools to analyse inventory trends and issues
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Previous inventory, stock control or warehouse administration experience
• Experience managing or supervising a team
• Strong IT and systems skills, with confidence analysing data and reports
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
• Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment preferred
