Full Job Description

Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership

  • Own the portfolio for the International Region, including strategy, execution, lifecycle management, and competitive positioning.
  • Contribute to product vision, value proposition, roadmap, and long-term strategy,
  • incorporating customer insights, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead regional input into World Wide Product Planning (WWPP), Long-Term Strategy (LTS),
  • and new product introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Ensure portfolio eligibility and readiness across regions, including regulatory, service, compliance, and configuration management (e.g., Apttus).
  • Market, Customer & Competitive Intelligence
  • Gather and synthesize Voice of Customer (VoC), clinical needs, and market trends to quantify opportunities and risks.
  • Analyze competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, win/loss data, and market forces to identify growth opportunities, potential threats and lead associated action plans.
  • Consolidate competitive intelligence and turn it into actionable insights for commercial teams
  • Exercise judgment on financial, operational, and commercial risks associated with business proposals and initiatives.
  • Commercial Enablement & Business Development
  • Act as a technical and clinical advisor to modality sales, commercial teams, RAMs, PSS, and service sales teams.
  • Generate, consolidate and maintain access to outcome-based collaterals to differentiate from other MRI vendors (e.g. Showpad, MR INT Marketing Portal)
  • Support tender responses, including first-line technical input and differentiation for Public and Private market opportunities.
  • Participate directly in customer meetings, representing advanced product expertise and contributing to deal strategy and closure.
  • Collaborate with account teams to propose innovative, value-based solutions tailored to customer clinical and economic needs.
  • Ensure achievement of quarterly and annual objectives defined in the modality operational plan.
  • Clinical & KOL Engagement
  • Work closely with the Clinical MR team to embed clinical selling skills and mindset across sales and product organizations.
  • Identify, engage, and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and reference/show sites within the assigned geography
  • Define and execute KOL and reference site strategy to support product validation, adoption, and market credibility.
  • Translate scientific and clinical insights into intuitive product experiences and future development priorities.
  • Product Launches, Marketing & Demand Generation
  • Lead new product launch programs in the region, ensuring clear positioning, compelling value propositions, and effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and execute regional product marketing strategies in collaboration with MR Growth Leaders, Modality Leaders, and Marketing (CMO, MarCom).
  • Drive demand creation and product awareness through coordinated marketing communication and PR plans.
  • Own marketing sign-off for promotional materials related to NPIs in the International Region.
  • Allocate and track promotional budgets and KPIs associated with launches, pilots, and collaborations.
  • Training, Enablement & Leadership
  • Organize and lead internal and external product trainings, including NPI launches and customer presentations.
  • Train and guide teams on product positioning, differentiation, value propositions, and key messages.
  • Foster strong collaboration across cross-functional teams (Global Product, R&D, Operations, Finance, Service, Marketing).
  • Promote team engagement, retention, and knowledge sharing; highlight successes and best practices to regional and senior leadership.
  • Quality, Compliance & Professional Standards
  • Comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Management System, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Complete all required Quality & Compliance training on time.
  • Proactively identify and report quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions.

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) : 10+ years of experience
  • Solid knowledge about medical imaging concepts (e.g., DICOM, segmentation), and clinical workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred
  • MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare, medical imaging, or technology-driven product roles.
  • Strong clinical acumen (neurology, oncology) and experience working with clinicians and researchers.
  • Proven track record in product discovery, innovation, and international market execution.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
