Full Job Description

We now have an opportunity for a passionate and motivated Sales Developer to join our Marshalls Commercial Sales Team on a permanent, full-time basis. So what's the mission? You will be a single internal point of contact for a selected group of customers within a designated sales territory, taking ownership of pricing requests and ensuring that the customer's needs are met; creating quotations, and ensuring these are delivered in a timely, accurate and customer-friendly manner. What you'll be doing You will support with related orders, deliveries, and delivery issues during busy periods. You will contribute to a Customer-Centric Internal Sales team, taking ownership of B2B customer interaction to generate profitable and sustainable direct-to-site sales. An important part of the role is contributing fully towards wider Marshalls sales teams, working towards shared goals, and handling customer needs. You will develop strong teamwork with any external sales counterparts in particular to manage sales opportunities and customer accounts; with particular emphasis on our sales systems to record information and plan actions.

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • The ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
  • As an excellent communicator (verbal and written), you'll be good at influencing and negotiating with the ability to quickly build strong relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience
  • Tenacious and strives for positive, accurate results
  • You'll need to be computer literate

  • 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata
