Full Job Description

  • Being a team player, by have a 'can do' attitude and being able to understand that the best solutions come from collaboration, exchanges of ideas and resilience.
  • Successfully conducting assignments internationally, whilst being prepared to work away from home occasionally (approx. 10% of the time).
  • Working with our public-sector and not for profit clients both in the UK and overseas. Our work is diverse, so you need to be adaptable, proactive and a self-starter. You could be seconded to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash transfer programme for both economically challenged countries/states or economically strong nations.
    • What we are looking for: Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can spot inefficiencies in everyday life and are passionate about making improvements, this role is perfect for you! We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here's what we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
  • IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA etc.)
  • Fluent and able to conduct assignments in a second language preferably French.
  • Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.
  • Robust, post qualification experience.
  • Level 7 education, ideally a masters degree.
  • Experience of internal audit is essential in the UN or central government / public sector.
  • Experience of fraud / procurement / donor grants / financial systems.
  • Experience working in/with the international not-for-profit sectors.
  • Able to undertake overseas travel (around 2-3 trips a year).
  • Experience of institutional grant budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
