The Role As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of high-end residential projects, helping to ensure robust financial control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll support the delivery of commercial objectives across a range of projects, assisting with cost planning, procurement, valuations, change management, and financial reporting. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams, you'll help maintain budgets, manage project risk, and contribute to the successful administration of JCT contracts. Additionally, you will: Assist with cost forecasting

reporting, and financial analysis Support subcontractor procurement, account management, and payment processes Prepare monthly valuations and contribute to maintaining risk and opportunity registers Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Assist in the management and evaluation of variations and change events Support the Commercial Manager in achieving project commercial targets About You Around 3-6 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with a main contractor Experience working on residential or high-quality construction projects A good understanding of JCT contract forms and commercial procedures Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships A proactive and organised approach, with a willingness to continue developing professionally A degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a
