This role is hybrid with circa 2-3 days per week in Leamington Spa HQ This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of Procurement Management Specialists that deliver auditable and sustainable cost base reduction to clients in a variety of industries. With a wide range of procurement experience across many industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, healthcare, property and the service sector this is a growing business offering a working environment which is hardworking, supportive and fun. As an Interim Procurement Lead, you will work on behalf of well-known clients to identify and implement innovative supply chain solutions which reduce costs and add value. You should have previous category experience within Property, Construction, FM or Fit-out to be considered for this role. If this is within Retail or QSR's that would be highly beneficial and any additional Indirect procurement experience would also be useful. Key Responsibilities: Interact with
key stakeholders and analyse data to create category management approachesAdvise and agree with on the procurement strategy for high spend categoriesDeliver measurable savings through hands on category management including undertaking tenders, negotiations and auctionsInfluence stakeholders to secure agreement to proposed solutionsUse of leading edge tools and processes and creative thinking to design solutions which deliver rapid cost savings and improvements in performanceSourcing suppliers from the UK and Worldwide to meet needsDeliver projects within agreed timescales Skills & Experience: 4-10 years' procurement experience in a major UK or international companyA breadth of category management experience within Property, FM or ConstructionA successful track record in managing and influencing senior stakeholdersStrong track record of savings delivery within a high spend environmentKeen commercial business senseExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalPositive and
proactive attitude, confident in taking personal initiativeGood negotiation skills and natural persuasionStrong academic (graduate) background and have an agile approach to challenges.
