Interim Head of IT

As Interim Head of IT, you will lead our digital, information governance and ICT services for an initial six-month period. You will be responsible for maintaining business-critical systems, strengthening cyber security, ensuring compliance with data protection legislation, and progressing key digital improvement initiatives What you will do

• Providing strategic leadership on technology, cyber security, data governance and digital transformation.
• Ensuring stable and effective ICT operations and service delivery.
• Leading digital infrastructure, cloud services, networks and system improvements.
• Acting as the organisation's Information Governance Lead.
• Ensuring compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation and NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit requirements.
• Leading and developing the ICT team.
• Improving reporting, data governance and organisational use of information.
• Strengthening business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.

  Significant experience in a senior ICT leadership, interim management or transformation role
• Proven success leading organisational change, digital transformation or service improvement programmes
• Strong experience managing cyber security, information governance and data protection compliance
• Experience operating within a regulated environment such as healthcare, charity or public sector organisations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading teams, managing budgets and influencing senior leaders
