Full Job Description
The Integrations Developer role helps design, develop and maintain integrations using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform, already in extensive use at Wren. Working as a member of an agile development team, features are created in an environment that encourages learning and the advancement of your technical skills as a developer. You will be based in our collaborative, open environment at our head office "The Nest" in Barton upon Humber. Main Responsibilities:
- Design and build new integrations, ranging from entirely new apps to new features, working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Test Analysts
- Help maintain and support existing integrations, with a focus on following best practices
- Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and API contracts
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
At least 2 years' experience in creating and maintaining integrations using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform, with expertise in API-led connectivity and RAML/OpenAPI - Experience with MuleSoft API Manager, CloudHub, Runtime Manager and DataWeave
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and message queuing systems
- Experience with Postman for API testing, debugging, and automation
- Experience of using version control systems (such as Git) as part of a team Desirable skills & knowledge:
- Experience working with authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML
- Working knowledge of DataDog or similar monitoring platforms
- Experience of working with AWS and appropriate services
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies (such as PHP, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience of agile project methodologies (and its impact on iterative design)
- Experience of working in a continuous integration environment
- Has previously worked for a retailer / understands retail process
