Insurance Broker

This is a long term opportunity that will suit a person with existing Insurance industry knowledge and someone looking to progress within the industry by taking on wider responsibilities. The day to day:

• Managing a book of renewals which are allocated each month, together with MTA's and cancellations
• Dealing with New Business enquiries
• Issuing contract certain quotations to the clients, together with Policy documentation
• Collect Premiums / process premium finance transactions
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and underwriters, through telephone, email and face to face meetings if required
• Comply with company CPD & training requirements.
• Working towards personal and team targets
• Assist with training for new staff when required
• Work with the Management team / Directors on projects and any ad-hoc requirements
  
  Must have relevant Insurance Industry Experience and be knowledgeable in either all or some of the following insurances; Professional Indemnity/Medical Malpractice, Public and Employers Liability Insurance and Directors and Officers Insurance

• A well-developed skill set that includes strong communication, negotiation, sales and IT skills coupled with a keen eye for detail
• have the confidence to deal with difficult situations, yet know when to seek guidance from managers
• Have good team working skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
