Full Job Description
As a Installation and Site Technician Capability Manager, you'll take ownership of the successful delivery of manufacturing and installation projects across a varied and exciting portfolio. You'll lead a skilled team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same you'll combine strategic oversight with practical involvement, driving operational excellence while contributing directly to build and installation activities. Day-to-day, you'll be:
- As a proven Installation Manager, you'll provide a structured approach to the delivery function ensuring that your team is suitably trained and hold the relevant qualifications to carry out their tasks across the UK sites and further afield.
- The role requires strong planning and operation managing experience along with the ability to manage a team of Installation Technicians across multiple locations, you will need to have a proactive approach to problem solving and willing to support with hands on tasks when required.
- You will be doing a mixture of management activities and hands on work to support the build and installation projects as a when required. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.
- Facility/operations management experience.
- Experience in reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience leading a team by setting a good example and ensuring processes are followed.
- Experience of creating and implementing processes and driving continual improvement activities.
- A good understanding of project management systems and processes and adequate knowledge of and compliance with the Health and Safety policy and regulations consistent with their responsibilities. Qualifications for the Installation and Site Technician Capability Manager
- Minimum HNC/HND in engineering or demonstrable experience in relevant roles
- IOSH Managing safely would be advantageous Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role. Must be Sole UK
