Role Overview
Are you an experienced data professional who wants to use your skills to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families in Telford and Wrekin? We're looking for someone to lead the busy Children and Families section of our Insight Team. This role will provide the Children's Safeguarding & Family Support and the Education & Skills directorates with the data and intelligence they need to run safe and high-performing services.
You will manage a team of Insight Officers who provide data and intelligence to support evidence-based decision making, from Government statutory returns to operational reporting. You will need to understand complex legislation, processes, systems, and data architectures. Strong skills in data extraction and interpretation are essential, and we use Microsoft Fabric to manage, automate, and visualise data. You will be able to communicate detailed findings clearly and confidently to a range of audiences. This fast-paced, demanding, and varied role offers a great opportunity to develop your career in a high-profile area of work.
