Inpatient / Outpatient Facilitator

With the guidance and supervision from the Capacity Planning Co-ordinator, will lead and manage their teams effectively in line with Trust policy and protocols. Ensuring the teams are positively supported and guided through all aspects of their daily duties and conduct.

Isresponsible for the day-to-day operational management of the access and booking targets in relation to the whole patient journey for the designated specialties.

Will ensure afocus is maintained on customer care standards at all times and represents the service of Access, Booking and Choice in a professional manner., Supporting the daily operational management of capacity and booking for Inpatients and Outpatients.

o Work flexibly to ensure all aspects of the services are supported in terms of staffing,ensuring staff are redeployed effectively to meet the service needs.

o Followsystems in place that assist the service user and thestaff to provide a safe and effective access and booking experience.

o Will have a clear understanding and working knowledge of all currentaccess targets.

o Meet frequently as required with the Capacity Planning Co-Ordinator to flag any issues relating to capacity and staffing.

o Actively seeking new ways of working that will assist staff to provide aquality service at all times.

o Contributing to success against locally and nationally agreed targets, including waiting list management, validation and adherence to RTT timeframes
