Ingersoll Rand - Legal Counsel Opportunity

The Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in supporting the Ingersoll Rand MEIA leadership team by providing strategic legal advice on complex issues. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts across various jurisdictions, with a focus on compliance and risk management. The role involves active participation in M&A transactions, commercial dealings, corporate law, and data privacy matters. Candidates will also assist in litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and ensure the company's operations align with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. Collaboration with global legal teams and internal departments is central, making this position both challenging and impactful.

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree, along with full proficiency in English. Applicants should bring at least seven years of professional experience within a commercial legal context, preferably involving cross-border and multi-jurisdictional work. A high level of integrity, strong drafting skills, and expertise in commercial and contractual law are essential. The role requires excellent communication abilities, an ability to deliver business-oriented solutions, and a proactive, results-driven mindset. While in-house experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Applicants must be qualified to practice law in India.
