Infrastructure Support Analyst

We're looking for DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineers to join an exciting new programme supporting highly secure, mission-critical systems. You'll join a close-knit team operating at the heart of a secure environment, helping to maintain, support, and continuously improve critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you'll investigate technical issues, drive operational excellence, and contribute to services that make a real impact. Working onsite in Portsmouth, you'll be surrounded by talented colleagues who genuinely collaborate, share knowledge, and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. As part of a 24/7 support team, you'll help ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications and infrastructure while contributing to service improvements, project work, testing activities, and operational development. Training & Location For your first six months, you'll complete a structured training programme based in Hemel Hempstead, attending the office 1-2 days per week and working remotely for the remainder. Once training is complete, you'll transition permanently to our Portsmouth site, where the role is fully onsite. What you'll be doing:

• Supporting and managing core IT infrastructure , including networks, servers, storage and operating systems.
• Managing incidents, problems, requests and changes in a structured, ITIL-aligned environment.
• Investigating and resolving technical issues and contributing to root-cause analysis.
• Monitoring live services to ensure consistent performance against agreed service levels.
• Contributing to infrastructure improvements, project activity, testing and release support.
• Producing and maintaining clear technical documentation to support day-to-day operations.
What you'll bring:
• Experience in infrastructure support, system administration or a similar technical operations role.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Awareness of ITIL-based service management processes.
• Experience supporting technology in structured, process-driven environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider technical team.
