Full Job Description
Are you passionate about technology and helping others? North Tyneside Council is looking for dedicated individuals to join our IT Infrastrcurure team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support.,
- Act as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests escalated from the Help Desk, assessing, prioritising and progressing tickets in line with agreed processes.
- Provide 2nd line infrastructure support for routine and well-defined issues, escalating complex or high-risk incidents to senior technicians or engineers.
- Assist with the day-to-day support and operation of infrastructure services, including servers, networks, storage, backups and core platforms.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless IT operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in IT systems and software
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
