Full Job Description
- Lead & Resolve: Provide expert support for VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, Dell VxRail and Data Domain platforms
- Secure & Protect: Support key management and privileged access solutions including HashiCorp Vault, Thales HSM, BeyondTrust and Keycloak
- Optimise & Maintain: Administer Windows Server 2022, Hyper-V, monitoring, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Collaborate & Improve: Work with cross-functional teams and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation
- Support & Respond: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota for critical infrastructure
You will be an experienced infrastructure professional with a strong background in secure, complex environments, ideally within Defence. You bring a proactive mindset, strong troubleshooting capability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions while working effectively as part of a trusted team. You should have: - Existing DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
- Proven experience in a senior infrastructure or support role
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Windows Server and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Solid understanding of networking principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Dell or security) are highly desirable Desirable experience includes:
- Cross-domain and secure systems (e.g. Tiger Traps, Garrison, OpsWat, NiFi)
- DevOps and container technologies (GitLab, Harbor, FluxCD, Kubernetes)
- Elastic for logging and analytics
