We are seeking an Information Sharing and Disclosure Officer to help ensure the safe, lawful, and effective sharing of information across the Force and with partner agencies. This is a vital role supporting the protection of children and vulnerable people, while helping the Force meet its legal and professional responsibilities.
You will provide a high-quality, customer-focused service, working in line with the Code of Ethics and relevant information management legislation and guidance.
What You'll Be Doing:
Processing and responding to information sharing requests from partner agencies under local and national agreements.

Preparing conviction reports for non-police prosecuting agencies.
Supporting the management, review, and maintenance of Information Sharing Agreements across the Force.
Providing advice and guidance to officers, staff, partner agencies, and organisations on information sharing and disclosure matters.
Identifying opportunities to improve information sharing practices and promote compliance with national standards and force policies.
Why This Role Matters:
Effective information sharing plays a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals, protecting communities, and supporting collaborative working with partner organisations. Your work will help ensure that information is shared appropriately, securely, and in compliance with national guidance, enabling better decision-making and positive outcomes across the community.

Can interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation accurately.
