Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the IT Information Team to facilitate Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and Data Protection (DP) requests. If you are an enthusiastic individual with excellent knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and the Data Protection Act and would like to work within a busy challenging team then look no further.

The successful candidate will work within the Information Team primarily processing and providing legislative responses to requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and Data Protection Act.

You will have a good working knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations, and Data Protection legislation, with experience of applying these in practice. You will be highly organised, self-motivated, and confident managing competing priorities. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, along with the ability to explain complex legislative decisions clearly and professionally.
