Your duties will include; patient reviews, undertaking audit, surveillance, education and supporting campaigns. Alongside this you will be guiding and supporting clinical staff on Infection Prevention and Control guidelines and policies, therefore promoting safe, quality, patient centred care. You will be committed to quality improvement, engaging with patients and staff and have the ability to translate guidance and strategy into changes of care. In return you will be joining a team who are committed to supporting you in your development, providing you with the knowledge and skills to undertake your role. The successful applicant will receive a minimum 4-week induction period and be supported in the use of core competencies to assess knowledge and skills as part of their continuous professional development in this field. You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. This programme aims to Explore leadership within the NHS Promote Trust Values and Behaviours Develop your Leadership effectiveness and skills Practitioner level in quality improvement, equipping you with the skills to champion, lead and complete quality improvement within your role After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
