Full Job Description

We are looking for a midwife who is passionate about supporting women, birthing people and their families with their infant feeding choices. As feeding midwife you should be prepared to champion infant feeding practices and educate and support women and staff to achieve the best outcome for their infant feeding journey., As infant feeding midwife, you will be responsible for organising and facilitating training for staff using evidence-based guidance to ensure that staff are trained to the highest standard possible.
Your role will include offering education to families to support them with their infant feeding choices and to create communities of peer support and network opportunities.
You will have joint responsibility in maintaining Baby Friendly level 3 status within the department and all process associated with that.
You will be expected to work with individuals and teams within and outside of the department to promote the service and work collaboratively to improve support for women for the whole of their infant feeding journey., + You must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom or meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
