Summary: Two-day industry taster exploring careers, building workplace skills and meeting professionals in construction and infrastructure., Are you a care experienced young person interested in finding out more about careers in construction, infrastructure and civil engineering? Story Contracting is committed to creating opportunities for care experienced young people to explore the world of work, build confidence and discover the wide range of careers available across the industry. This two-day experience, held at Story Contracting's Tamworth office, gives participants the opportunity to meet employees, learn about different career paths and gain an insight into what it's like to work in the construction and infrastructure sector. The programme is designed to provide a supportive and welcoming introduction to the workplace while helping young people develop new skills and confidence.About the Industry Taster Experience Participants will spend two days taking part in interactive workshops, team activities and careers sessions designed to provide an insight into the working environment and the variety of roles within the business. They will meet employees from different teams, hear about their career journeys and learn more about the opportunities and pathways available within the construction and infrastructure industry. No previous experience is required, and the programme is focused on learning, career exploration and building confidence in a professional office environment.What You'll Gain By taking part, you will have the opportunity to:
