Industry Placement Officer - Construction

We are seeking to recruit an innovative, outgoing and motivated individual to join our outstanding team of Industry Placement Officers. Based at our Aylesbury Campus; you will work collaboratively with employers, staff and students to create meaningful industry placement and work experience opportunities, helping learners develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to succeed in the construction sector and beyond. This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. The successful candidate will be:

• Generating new placement and work experience opportunities, as well as being the key point of contact for employers, whilst they host a student on work placement.
• Establishing and developing strong relationships with employers and having a clear commitment to ensure that these relationships are sustainable
• Liaising with teaching staff to ensure that work placements provide appropriate opportunities for learners to progress in both their technical and work-related skills development, relevant to their chosen vocational sector.
