As a subsidiary of Denholm Energy Services, Denholm Environmental deploys teams of highly qualified personnel, together with specialist equipment, to deliver a complete portfolio of industrial cleaning services safely, efficiently, and effectively. We are currently looking for an Industrial Operative!

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out Confined Space working
• Labour and operate all equipment of which you are trained to operate
• Carry out manual handling tasks, including lying out and connecting hose and digging out waste from vessels.
• Carry out daily checks on equipment before use and monitor the equipment throughout the working day
• When acting as a crew member adhere to method statement and risk assessment and instruction given by the supervisor.
• Be courteous to customers and act in a professional manner at all times.
• Keep company vehicles clean and tidy at all times
• Report any faulty equipment or damages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Working away from home on occasion will be required
• You will be required to work additional hours at short notice and be flexible in your start time as necessitated by the needs of the business
• You will be expected to be flexible and to carry out all reasonable duties as part of the job, as and when required.

This is in addition to other as duties as may be reasonably required of you by the chairman or board of the company. You should be aware that you may be called upon, from time to time, to act in a capacity outside of your normal duties e.g. in cases of absnce, sickness or holidays of other members of staff.
