Full Job Description
Garden House Hospice Care is looking for an experienced and compassionate fundraiser to lead the development of our individual giving, legacy, in-memory and lottery programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow several important areas of fundraising, creating meaningful supporter experiences while generating sustainable income to support our hospice services. As our Individual Giving & Legacy Relationship Manager, you will develop strategies that inspire people to support Garden House Hospice Care through regular donations, gifts in wills, in-memory giving and our lottery programme. You will build lasting relationships with supporters, ensuring that every person receives thoughtful, personalised and timely communication that helps them understand the difference their support makes. What you'll be doing Working as part of our Fundraising Team, you will:
- Develop and deliver our individual giving strategy, growing income from regular giving and other individual donations.
- Lead our legacy fundraising programme, building relationships with legacy enquirers, pledgers, executors and professional partners.
- Develop our in-memory fundraising activity, supporting families and donors with sensitivity and care.
- Oversee our partnership with Local Hospice Lottery, helping to grow supporter recruitment, retention and income.
- Create effective supporter journeys that inspire long-term engagement and loyalty.
- Plan and deliver legacy, remembrance and supporter engagement events.
- Work closely with our Data, Supporter Care, Marketing and wider Hospice teams to deliver coordinated and impactful fundraising activity.
