You will act as the key VAT specialist for the business, providing robust technical advice and ensuring compliance obligations are met accurately and efficiently.Key responsibilities will include:Ownership of end-to-end UK VAT compliance processesReview and oversight of UK VAT returns and associated submissionsReview and support of VAT compliance across Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland and other European jurisdictionsAdvising on major projects, cross-border transactions and joint operationsActing as the key contact for HMRC and managing VAT-related enquiriesSupporting SAO reporting requirements relating to VATWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced indirect tax professional with strong technical VAT expertise gained within either industry, practice
