Independent chair

This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership to a well-established and ambitious organisation at a time of significant opportunity across the NHS and wider public sector landscape.

Working closely with the Board, Managing Director and shareholder representatives, you will ensure the organisation maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, supports sustainable growth and continues to deliver excellent services for patients, service users and customers.

As Independent Chair, you will help steer NTH Solutions through its next phase of development, supporting the organisation to harness digital innovation, technology-enabled improvement and modern data-driven approaches across its services. You will provide strategic oversight to ensure digital opportunities are identified and utilised to improve operational performance, customer experience, workforce productivity and commercial growth

As a successful NHS subsidiary company, NTH Solutions provides a broad range of Estates, Facilities, Procurement and Support Services to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and to a growing portfolio of external organisations. The organisation employs more than 700 colleagues and plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of safe, high quality healthcare services whilst generating value for the NHS., South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust have come together to form University Hospitals Tees. As a result, post holders may be required to work across sites within both organisations.
