Full Job Description
This post is funded through the Inclusive Mainstream Fund and contributes to the delivery of national SEND reforms, supporting the development of inclusive practice and provision. We have some fantastic opportunities available for Inclusive Learning Mentors to join our Inclusion team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group! We are looking for motivated and experienced individuals to provide to Additional Learning Support for learners with SEND and other vulnerable characteristics on vocational programmes. You will: Enable rapid progress for students with SEND and other vulnerable characteristics in both vocational study and wider Preparing for Adulthood Outcomes Analyse student needs within the department and liaise with colleagues to support the development towards meeting those neds Provide training and support for colleagues regarding SEND, Inclusion and other vulnerable characteristics
GCSE in English and Maths A
- -C/9-4 or equivalent Experience of SEND or other vulnerable characteristics Experience of supporting young people and a school/college setting A Level 3 Education and Training, and a relevant SEND qualification are desirable but not essential
