Brampton Manor Trust are looking to appoint an Inclusion Support Mentor to work within our new inclusion provision.

This role is for our new provision that opened in September 2025, which is based at Langdon Academy, but will be accessed by students from both schools within our Trust.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their significant impact on improving the life chances of our students and have extensive pastoral experience, preferably in an educational establishment.

This is a demanding role and is not for the faint hearted. You will need to be resilient, a quick learner and able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

This role includes mentoring students in the provision to re-engage them with their learning, so that they can be successful in their respective school. The role consists of supporting students with their learning on a day-to-day basis and having oversight of their progress to ensure that they meet their targets, so that they can re-integrate back in to their school.

You will have a responsibility for the students' behaviour whilst they are in the provision and will be supported by teachers who attend to deliver subject specific lessons. The provision is led by a senior member of staff, who has extensive pastoral experience and they will be accountable for the progress that the students make.

Whilst working almost exclusively within the provision, the successful candidate must be flexible and be willing to undertake other pastoral responsibilities within the school, if and when needed.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate that they are meticulous when maintaining accurate records, are able to build positive working relationships with staff, students, parents and, external agencies. You will also lead with re-integration plans for students and check on their progress within their school.

Brampton Manor Trust consists of two schools, both based in East Ham. Brampton Manor Academy is an 11-18 school with an enviable reputation both locally and nationally. Langdon Academy is a 4-16 school and joined Brampton Manor Trust in 2014, and since then has made substantial progress.

Please visit the Brampton Manor Academy and Langdon Academy websites to find out more information about our schools.

All completed application forms must be sent via the TES portal, or to the email address towards the bottom of the application form.

Please note that CVs will not be accepted.

Closing date: Tuesday 5th May 2026 at 9.00am.

Please note: Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as applications are received.

Brampton Manor Trust is committed to the safeguarding of children. Enhanced DBS checks will always be carried out on new employees.

Please note that this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Therefore, you must give details on your application form of all offences, convictions, cautions or bind overs you have or any court cases that you have pending.
