Full Job Description
As the SEND Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of a high-quality, inclusive educational experiences for students with SEND. You will work closely with the management team, tutors, support staff and external agencies to ensure that students' individual needs are met and that they receive the support they need to succeed. You will support and line manager colleagues at a designated centres working directly with SEND learners, as well as supporting across the wider YMCA key College team and sites.
Ideally you will have the following: -
Appropriate qualification such as AET, PGCE, TAQA.
Knowledge and understanding of educational legislation.
Working knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent.
A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.

The appointment is subject to YMCA Derbyshire receiving two satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a six-month probationary period.
