Ysgol Bro Taf

Role Overview

This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team as our Inclusion Room Lead - a key role at the centre of our behaviour and inclusion provision, where your ability to build positive relationships, manage behaviour effectively, and support reintegration will have a direct impact on pupils' well-being, engagement, and success in school.

About Ysgol Bro Taf

Thank you for expressing an interest in the Inclusion Room Lead post at Ysgol Bro Taf, a 3-16 school based in Pontypridd. We opened our doors in September 2024 following an £18.5 million investment in 21st Century learning facilities that reflect our commitment to excellence. Two years on, these state-of-the-art spaces are being brought to life by a dedicated and innovative team, and they continue to serve as the foundation for our ambition and high-quality provision for the community we serve.

It remains a privilege to lead Ysgol Bro Taf. We are building something exceptional - a school with a clear vision, a strong sense of purpose, and a vibrant all-through learning community. The opportunity to shape a new curriculum and culture, to innovate, and to build lasting impact continues to inspire all of us here. I'm looking for colleagues who share this energy and ambition to join us on the next phase of our journey.

Our Beliefs and Environment

At Ysgol Bro Taf, we believe there is brilliance in every child. We are committed to offering rich, diverse learning experiences both within and beyond the classroom. Creating a happy, safe, and inclusive environment - one where all pupils feel supported and known - is central to everything we do.

Our Staff and Professional Development

Our staff are at the heart of our success. They are empowered to think creatively, to challenge established norms, and to do things differently in pursuit of what's best for our pupils. In return, Ysgol Bro Taf is an exciting place to work - where every member of staff is valued, achievements are celebrated, and professional growth is actively supported.

Collaboration and Learning

We are committed to collaboration, both within the school and across the wider education community. We actively seek out opportunities to learn from others and to share our own practice. High-quality professional learning is a cornerstone of our work, and we invest in our staff to ensure they can thrive and grow alongside our pupils.
