Inclusion Mentor

Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher - Behaviour & Attitudes, you will assist our young people in overcoming barriers to learning using a range of techniques to focus on the academic, social and emotional wellbeing of pupils requiring additional support. We require a confident person who can maintain liaison between home and the Academy.

• Able to motivate and encourage pupils to remain focused and reinforce self-esteem.
• Able to prioritise conflicting demands successfully and appropriately.
• Confident in acting as a coach/mentor, to develop pupil's confidence, organisation, and independent working skills.
• Passionate about the education of children and young adults.
• The ability to work on their own initiative, but also be able to work flexibly as part of a team.
The post holder will be responsible to the Assistant Headteacher - Behaviour and Attitudes. The working hours for this post are 08:15 - 15:15. You will be/have:
