The Governors seek to appoint a dedicated Inclusion and Learning Supervisor to provide support for pupils, with the objective of raising standards of achievement by delivering intervention programmes and developing/ implementing high quality individual learning plans. This will also include lesson cover/ support, supervision of pupils excluded from lessons, detentions or admin support for curricular areas or other duties and responsibilities relevant to the nature, level and scope of the post. A key aspect of this role will be to provide support across the school in promoting pupil wellbeing, positive behaviour and safeguarding. The successful candidate will work closely with pastoral, safeguarding and inclusion teams to support pupils who may require additional guidance, intervention or supervision. This will include building positive relationships with pupils, supporting behaviour management strategies, contributing to attendance and wellbeing initiatives, monitoring and reporting
safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures, and helping to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential.
