In Work Progression Advisor

Do you want to make a difference to Wigan residents already in work but looking to improve their salaries, gain different roles or increase skills to move into better, more sustainable work? Due to increased demand, the In Work Progression team is looking for an additional advisor to join them.

You will need to have experience of offering information, advice and or guidance, for those looking for work/changing roles, preferably with adults though other areas will be considered. Though a level 4 IAG qualification is ideal, other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered too depending on experience.

This role gives you the chance to be part of a well-established project which has developed across the borough. Though currently a short-term role, if additional funding becomes available, this would potentially be extended. The In Work Progress offer sits within the Adult Learning and Skills Service, where everyone works together well and are committed and dedicated to offering the best to our residents.
