Immunisation Programme Assistant (Chichester) - Part time - two days per week annualised contract, working 42 weeks per year.

An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Immunisation Programme Assistant/s to join the SCFT Sussex Immunisation Service.

The role requires core working hours of 8am-4pm, with flexibility at either end of the day for packing of vaccines or clinic cover on a rota basis. You will also be asked to cover one Saturday morning clinic per school term.

The SCFT Sussex Immunisation Service vaccinates children aged 0-19 years in schools and clinics across East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

This post will be based in Chichester but all team members support the whole of the SCFT Sussex Immunisation Service, so you must be a car owner/driver and be willing to travel daily to clinics and schools within Sussex.

Skilled Worker visa: going rates for eligible occupation codes - GOV.UK, The role will include providing clerical and clinical support in schools, bases, clinics and patients' homes. It is an exciting and varied role, working within a team of nurses, assistants and administrators to deliver vaccination programmes to school aged children and SCFT Staff.

The successful candidate will prepare the documentation and assist with the running of the vaccination sessions and clinics and be expected to accurately process the completed session paperwork.

During this busy flu vaccination period, they may also be involved with giving the flu nasal spray vaccine to School aged children under supervision of a trained health professional. Full training will be given.
