Where your work helps shape the healthcare of tomorrow We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team at our Portsmouth Surgical Centre. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-focused radiographic services, working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You'll play a key role in maintaining exceptional clinical standards while contributing to a culture aligned with our Access to Excellence values. Hours of work - 37.5 hours 4 long days 9.375 hours including weekends, bank holidays and late shifts. Combination of above shifts equalling 37.5 hours a week What you can expect in return

  • Deliver safe, effective and high-quality radiographic examinations across a broad range of techniques
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively to manage workload and meet patient needs
  • Ensure full compliance with IRMER 2017, IRR 17 and local radiation safety procedures
  • Clinically justify imaging referrals and support validation of reports
  • Maintain accurate patient identification and data across radiology systems
  • Promote excellent patient experience, upholding dignity, privacy and confidentiality
  • Support infection prevention and control standards across clinical areas
  • Contribute to clinical governance activities including audit, risk management and incident reporting
  • Engage in continuous professional development and competency assessments
  • Demonstrate safe use of digital radiography in line with ALARP principles

    BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registered radiographer
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection legislation and best practice
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of care and continuous improvement
