  • Are you an IT Technician looking to support the education system? Unity Schools Partnership want an IT Technician to support our schools to make teaching easy, help students enjoy learning and promote the power of technology in supporting classrooms getting more exciting and efficient in the future. We are looking for an IT Technician to work in our schools across Sudbury and the surrounding areas.   • variety and job satisfaction, ICT technicians provide 1st line support to look after school IT equipment, install, order and maintain software and hardware and provide technical support to teachers and pupils. ICT technicians work in a hub as part of the trust wide IT team and support the staff and pupils within our schools.
  • Your day-to-day work usually involves:
  • resolving IT issues reported through our service desk ticketing system
  • assisting in the maintenance of the school's network
  • installing new software and upgrading existing applications
  • providing technical support for teachers and pupils
  • running diagnostics maintaining hardware peripherals (e.g. visualisers, printers, external drives)
  • ensuring systems are safe and offer full child protection
  • training teachers and students.
