IBM ODM Consultant

A leading IT services organisation is seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong experience in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) to support the delivery of decision-driven applications within a large, complex healthcare environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer to play a key role in designing and implementing rule-based solutions that support critical operational decision-making.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for building and configuring decision services, working closely with architects and business analysts to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining decision services using IBM ODMTranslating business requirements into business rules and decision logicDesigning and implementing rule flows and rule setsIntegrating decision services with wider application and workflow componentsSupporting testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of rule-based systemsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)Proven experience building and managing business rules and decision servicesUnderstanding of integration with workflow/process-based systems (e.g. BAW/BPM)Experience working within structured delivery environments (e.g. Agile)Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverablesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in healthcare or regulated environments is advantageous
