I.T Technician

We are seeking a competent School IT Technician. The duties include maintaining and supporting the school's IT systems, equipment and networks to ensure staff and students can use technology effectively and safely. Responsibilities include providing technical support to teachers, administrative staff and students, setting up and maintaining computers, laptops, tablets, interactive whiteboards, printers and other IT equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts and passwords, installing and updating software, supporting school networks and Wi-Fi, carrying out routine maintenance, and assisting with data security, backups and online safety. The role may also involve preparing IT equipment for lessons, keeping accurate records of equipment and repairs, and supporting staff with the use of educational technology.
