Shropshire Council's Feedback and Insight Team are seeking to recruit an Insight andVCS Engagement Officer. The focus of the role is working to coordinate and supportShropshire's Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly. The post holder will enablecross-sector partnership working, support the work of the VCS Assembly Board,organise meetings and events, and deliver partnership projects and voluntary sectorresearch.We are looking for someone who has experience of working in partnerships and/or withthe voluntary sector, delivering partnership projects and gathering feedback.Applications are welcomed from those with well-developed organisational and projectmanagement skills. The post holder will lead on weekly communications designed forthe voluntary sector and manage the VCS Assembly website among other duties., The post holder will also support the Feedback and Insight Team Leader in managingprojects, undertaking research and responding to requests for engagement support.Influencing skills will be essential along with good team working skills. Working in asmall team some flexibility is required to support colleagues and meet the changingneeds of Shropshire Council.

The role will require excellent written communication skills alongside good IT skills(although training will be provided). The post holder will be expected to act as aspecialist for Shropshire Council, providing engagement advice to a wide range ofinternal services and external partners.
