Our client requires a Hygiene Operative with an immediate start, at their site in Long Clawson near Melton Mowbray. Your own transport is essential due to location and hours of work. Your main responsibilities will entail carrying out scheduled cleaning tasks including the deep cleaning of production equipment and production lines with the use of chemicals and hygiene products.
This role is perfectly suited for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and has some prior experience working in a similar role would be beneficial but training is provided. This role is physical and will consist of lifting, bending, and carrying. You will be:
- Stripping and cleaning machinery.
- Using different chemicals for the cleaning process.
- Cleaning areas that can be physically demanding, such as washrooms, stripping belts, and cleaning under gantries.
- Performing high-level cleaning such as ceilings, walls, and floors.
- Supporting in the changing of airsocks.
Weekend working is a requirement. Weekend work will be on a rota basis, and if you work a Saturday the following week, it would be a Sunday.
