36 hours per weekMonday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm£13.45 per hour + Sodexo employee benefits packageOpportunities for career developmentHygiene OperativeWe are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team, delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a GMP-regulated environment.This is a key role responsible for ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards in line with client requirements and company procedures. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver a safe, compliant, and high-quality service.What you'll do:Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all designated areas to GMP standardsComplete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, including specialist duties such as silicone line cleaningFollow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Use cleaning chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidelinesEnsure appropriate use of safety signage (e.g. wet floor signs) at all
timesMaintain cleaning equipment in a clean and safe working conditionEnsure cleaning stores are kept organised and fully stockedReport low stock levels, hazards, faults, or issues to the Supervisor or Hygiene ManagerComply with all Health & Safety, hygiene, and site regulations, including GMP and local safety proceduresSupport colleagues and assist in other areas when required (e.g. sickness or annual leave cover)Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clientsWhat you'll bring:Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a GMP or regulated environmentGood understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practicesCOSHH trained (essential)Awareness of GMP / GxP standardsAbility to follow cleaning schedules and work to strict timelinesStrong attention to detail and high standards of personal hygieneReliable, self-motivated, and proactiveAble to work both independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to
