Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer - Incident Response

University of Portsmouth is seeking a skilled cyber security engineer to design, improve and maintain security defences across our hybrid infrastructure. The postholder will manage log ingestion pipelines, improve alert fidelity and ensure tooling is integrated across services.

The role includes supporting incident response, identifying and remediating threats, and contributing to the Cyber Security Roadmap. Hybrid working is available with some Portsmouth-based days.
