Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join a growing international technology and engineering business. This is a stand-alone HR role within the UK operation, working closely with global stakeholders and playing a key part in delivering a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, ensuring HR practices remain compliant, effective, and aligned to business objectives. This role offers excellent variety and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, offer management and onboarding.Develop and deliver effective onboarding and offboarding programmes.Support managers with performance management processes, coaching and employee development.Administer employee benefits and liaise with external providers.Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including investigations and complex case management.Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.Review, update and implement HR policies, procedures and employee handbook content.Support employee engagement, learning and development initiatives, and organisational culture programmes.Maintain HR records, systems and reporting processes.Act as a key liaison between HR and payroll functions.
About YouYou will be a proactive and relationship-focused HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of HR disciplines and partnering with managers to drive positive people outcomes.
You will ideally have:A minimum of 5 years' generalist HR experience.Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.Proven employee relations and investigation experience.Strong recruitment and talent acquisition capability.Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.CIPD Level 5 qualification or above (preferred).A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
